Then this workshop is for you!
The workshop includes:
Basics of Lightroom and Photoshop Workflow for Photographers
How to Navigate the Lightroom panels
Importing and organizing photos - including keywords and ranking
Basic editing to enhance your photos like crop, white balance, and exposure
Editing with advanced techniques like local adjustments brushes
Exporting your image for editing in other photography software packages
Exporting your photos for web and print including adding a watermark
Printing your images from Lightroom
This workshop will contribute to learning credits if you study the Academy’s photography courses.
What you need to bring along
A USB stick or portable hard drive with a selection of your own images. Best option is to bring RAW files, but JPEG’s are acceptable too.Lightroom can’t edit layered .psd/Photoshop files) Sample raw files will also be supplied.
Apple Mac users
Only drives that are in the FAT32 format can be read and written to by both Windows PC’s and Apple Mac computers. Check the format of your external drive before you attend the course, as it may not be compatible with our Windows PC laptops.
The workshop lasts 5 hours with a half an hour lunch break. Lunch is included: finger buffet including sandwiches, wraps, volauvents, sausage rolls, chicken goujons, coleslow and dips.
Booking, Payment, and Deposit
Our workshops require full payment at the time of booking to guarantee your spot. This ticket is non-refundable; however if we are able to fill your spot before the workshop we will refund 50%. Refunds made more than 60 days after payment are subject to a 3% processing fee. Up to 30 days before a workshop you can reschedule and apply your ticket fee to a future workshop. Your entire ticket fee becomes non-refundable and non-transferable 30 days before the workshop.
If AISR cancels a workshop for any reason, your entire registration fee will be transferred to another workshop or refunded to you at your discretion.
For photographers who are traveling for workshops, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your costs in case of cancellation or withdrawal.
