NI Science Festival

AISR in partnership with STEM Aware and Ulster University carried out the CSI Connected Classroom project as part of the Science Festival Northern Ireland. The focus of our project was to involve students in an international science investigation, where they had to carry out a series of experiments such as code breaking, fingerprint analysis and further scientific analysis. AISR's CEO, Dr Terry McIvor was mentoring the Indian students at HHSIB-SHSS school in India and Roisin Crawford and Maria McGilloway were mentoring the students at St. Mary's School in Derry-Londonderry in order to eliminate suspicious characters and investigate the crime. Read more about the event here. 2 schools participated in the pilot project in 2018, however, we would like to include more schools for 2019's Science Festival.

Dr. McIvor met Kesavananda Bharati, which is the most referred name in Indian constitutional law. His Holiness Kesavananda Bharati Sripadagalvaru and Ors. v. State of Kerala and Anr. is a landmark decision of the Supreme Court of India that outlined the basic structure doctrine of the constitution.
