Hospitality

This course offers a strong, sector-related emphasis on practical skills development beside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding. The qualification allows direct progression to employment as it provides a thorough foundation in the key concepts and practical skills required in the following sectors/jobs: hospitality, licensed retail, food and beverage or leisure and tourism sectors, front of house manager or events manager.

 

Entry Requirements:

10th Standard plus a Level 3 Diploma or 12th Standard and you need to be able to demonstrate good communication skills / GCSE plus a Level 3 Diploma

  • Food and Beverage operations management

  • Marketing in hospitality

  • Human resource management for service industries

  • Brewing science

  • Menu planning and product development

  • External business environment

  • Rooms division operations management etc.

  • Out of the Specialist units, you need choose units with a total credit value of 75 credits
