AISR is the constituent polytechnic College of the Manipur International University (MIU). (MIU) is an Autonomous Statutory State International Public University established, recognised and accredited by the State Government of Manipur.MIU is established by the State Government of Manipur via Manipur International University Ordinance, 2018 (Manipur Ordinance No.1 of 2018) which was notified in the Official Gazette on 26th June 2018.Later, the monsoon session of the Manipur State Legislative Assembly has unanimously passed the Manipur International University Bill, 2018 (Manipur Bill No.8 of 2018) on 23rd July 2018. The winter session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly has once again unanimously passes the Bill on 21st Dec 2018.

The University is fully recognised and Institutionally accredited by the State Government of Manipur via the MIU Act, 2018.

AISR is ISO 9001 : 2015 accredited by the United Accreditation Foundation approved organisation, Globus. To ensure we remain able to deliver the high quality service our customers demand, we keep a commitment to rigorous self-evaluation, improvement and quality assurance. We regularly review our process and progress as well as customer feedback to ensure that we deliver the best service possible. 

Academy for International Science and Research (AISR) was granted approval from the State Government of Manipur. This was granted by virtue of signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the newly formed Manipur International University (MIU) India. This will enable AISR to operate as a constituent vocational College of the university. Which will legally allow AISR to develop its own curriculum for use in India through the MIU validation process.

The Management and Science University (MSU) is a private university located in Malaysia. Professor Tan Sri Dato Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, the President and Founder of MSU and MSU College group is a passionate proponent for excellence in education. He sets new benchmarks on excellence and quality in the Malaysian and regional private education scenarios through his innovative leadership and involvements in 21st century learning.

AISR is in partnership with PeopleCert in order to offer Online LanguageCert International ESOL examination and LanguageCert International ESOL SELT Examination vouchers.

AISR is in partnership with Institute of Technology Sligo developing and managing study opportunities for international students in Ireland. 

AISR is in partnership with Business, Finance and Management School of New York developing and managing study opportunities for international students in New York. AISR is working on developing networks in various other countries around the world to give a wider population a chance to study internationally. 

AISR is a registered Umbrella Body with Access NI providing a professional vetting service for individuals, volunteers, employers and voluntary organisations within Northern Ireland. We do not receive funding to deliver the service, therefore we do have small administration fees in addition to any Access NI fees for enhanced disclosure applications. Currently our administration fees are £5.00 for a volunteer role and £10.00 for paid posts, in addition to Access NI fees £33 for enhanced disclosure application.

The Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (CIML) is an American professional body that seeks to develop managerial skills in employers and employees. CIML accredits the Academy's Management and Leadership Qualification internationally. 

Academy of International Science and Research (AISR) is a higher education and research organization, incorporated in Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) to act as an International Education Service Provider to offer Professional & Vocational Training and Higher Education through accredited academic and research programs internationally through its affiliated Colleges and Study Centres.

Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCN NI) is a Nationally Recognised Awarding organisation which offer high quality flexible, credit based qualifications. Academy for International Science and Research is an OCN NI centre.

The Academy for Technological Innovation and Research (ATIR) is a subsidiary of AISR. ATIR is a technological innovation and research company, focusing on the enhancement of interactive educational solutions, and on biomedical and nanotechnology devices. The educational solutions are integrated into educational packages including 3D virtual science laboratories, simulations, apps, augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). All our educational technology innovations centre around problem solving, critical thinking and real work applications. We provide bespoke solutions for K-12 and higher educational institutions. 

Global Technical Engineering Centre (GTEC) has partnered with AISR, so that the Academy will be able to offer chemical engineering and mechanical engineering courses soon focusing on the oil and gas, power generation and mining industry.

AJ Stack Solutions provides excellence and experienced technical and business management services to the Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Mining Industries. AISR works in partnership with AJ Stack Solutions to develop and deliver Engineering courses. 

AISR is a centre of excellence for Science and Technology Education and as a result we work in association with STEMNET UK at home and abroad.

STEMNET creates opportunities to inspire young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Resources help young people to develop their creativity, problem-solving and employability skills. STEMNET helps encourage young people to be well informed about STEM career opportunities and to engage fully in debate about STEM-related issues. STEMNET works principally with schools and colleges, helping young people and their teachers access a range of STEM enhancement and enrichment opportunities including STEM Clubs, links with STEM Ambassadors and activities featured in the STEM Directories.

W5 coordinates the STEM Ambassador Hub in Northern Ireland, ensuring all schools have knowledge of and access to STEM Ambassadors in their area.

AISR has partnered with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Foundation in order to bring creativity and innovation into the core of its research activities. Our research will have a strong emphasis on regional economic development, intellectual capital, and knowledge exchange within India. Our research will inform our teaching and will encourage students to become creative and highly employable graduates through engagement with research active staff solving real-world problems.

Winterbloom Publications is a Canada based company, publishing a wide range of materials in various languages. 

AISR are signatories to Woman in STEMM Charter and is committed to address the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), therefore works in collaboration with the Equality Commission, who is working with the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) and the STEM Business Group to address gender imbalance in STEM businesses in Northern Ireland.

AISR is a registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which is the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

Our CEO is a professional member of the British Computer Society, the Chartered Institute for IT. We, as the first private vocational STEMM Academy, are committed to making IT good for society. We use the power of our expertise to bring about positive, tangible change with regard to educating our learners locally, nationally and internationally. We at AISR are committed to the development of challenging learning strategies based on problem based learning and critical thinking. We are proud to say, that we will champion the global IT profession and the interests of individuals, engaged in that profession, for the benefit of all.

Staff within AISR are currently actively involved with the Biochemical Society's Policy Network. AISR welcomes the opportunity for its staff and CEO to feed its expert scientific  views into policy network of the society and is involved in activities on a variety of issues, including education policy, industry, research funding, EU policy, antimicrobial resistance and equality and diversity. 

The Academy for International Science and Research (AISR) is a corporate member of the Association of Science Education (ASE) to promote high-quality science education at the Academy and in partner schools, colleges and universities. As part of this group, we will provide guidance and advice to those who make policy decisions about science education within these institutions and advocate evidence-informed science education policy. Our collective belief is that science education should prepare present and future learners for modern society, create passion within the learner for the further study of the sciences and educate the next generation of science-based professionals.  

The CEO of the Academy is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemistry (AIC). AISR engages in a broad range of programs for professional enhancement through the prestigious Fellow membership category, awards program, certification programs, meetings, publications and public relations activities.

The Academy is a unionised institution and its staff are encouraged to become members of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), which is a union for educational professionals, who use their members' experience to influence education policy. 

AISR works in partnership with Omega College with campuses in Malaysia and Singapore. 

AISR works in partnership with the Bangkok School of Management, developing and managing study opportunities for international students. 

AISR is a supporting member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) because it represents over 290 British international schools in 8- countries worldwide. COBIS supporting members share high expectations of both students and staff and they strive to achieve the highest academic standards and quality of learning. The provision of a first class pastoral care system, a wide range of co-curricular activities, and a keen focus on the development of the whole learner and develops and nurtures qualities such as resilience, adaptability, self-confidence, tolerance and international mindedness.  

AISR has partnered with the Department for International Trade to develop sales, growth and stability by selling overseas. AISR is currently exploring the potential of exporting within India, Nigeria, Cameroon, Myanmar and the ASEAN regions.   

AISR is a member of the Skills for Life Network, because it is widely acknowledged and highly regarded as the key news, information and signposting resource for teachers and managers of functional skills and GCSE maths, English and ICT, ESOL and SEND working in the Further Education and Skills sector.  

Our CEO, Dr Terry McIvor is an Associate Member of the The Academy of Medical Educators (AoME),  is the multi professional organisation for all those involved in medical education – the education and training of students and practitioners in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science.

We are seeking accreditation from the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) for the Academy for International Science and Research campus in Nigeria. This is currently in process and will hopefully be completed by August 2018. 

AISR is an institutional member of the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN), a non-governmental educational association. The aim of the association is to foster developments in open, distance, flexible and e-learning providing a platform for all the regions and countries of Europe for co-operation and collaboration between institutions, networks companies and other agencies in the field. 

AISR is proud to sign an MOU with Apollo MedSkills, which is the largest and most preferred Healthcare Skilling institution in India. Apollo MedSkills Limited - the skilling arm of Apollo Hospitals Group in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has set up Centres of Excellence (COE) to impart job specific skills and make their students a part of the much sought after global healthcare work force. The Academy is very excited to deliver AISR courses in conjunction with Apollo MedSkjlls through their 49 vocational skills centres throughout India. This will make a significant contribution to the vocational skills shortages in India and will contribute to the fulfilment for India's vocational skills strategy also known as Skill India. 

AISR is a member of IVETA (International Vocational Education and Training Association), a network of vocational educators. IVETA is dedicated to the advancement and improvement of high-quality vocational education and training throughout the world.

AISR is a proud partner of the Curriculum and Assessment Network (CAN), which has been setup for the validation of courses and training programmes for those institutions who need UK validation to ensure that their academic and training programmes are recognised as being to the required standard and also providing certification services.
